I have a problem with my ford focus, all the dash lights keep flashing continuously even when car is started?

It won't show mileage and nearly every light on dash board is flashing. The dealers say they never heard of it happening before! does anyone know how to fix this problem or has anyone had this same problem?? Please HELP.
