What would cause these red spots to suddenly appear on my skin?

All of a sudden, loads of red dots have appeared on my skin, they weren't there yesterday and not even this morning. The first on appeared around 12:00pm, then more appeared. They are just little red dots, not blemish type, not raised, discoloured or itchy. Just red dots as if I've used a red felt tip.

I've not used anyone weird or eaten anything different.

Does anyone have any ideas what these might be?
