I'm trying to connect to my Office network via VPN. It works fine with my Windows XP pc.
But from Windows 8 PRO, I get no network access for both IPv4 and IPv6. I am able to establish the connection and getting an IP address etc, but, I am unable to connect to any of the servers or ping any of IP address.
I have verified all the connection parameters in Xp en Win8: they are identical.
Also the "IPconfig /all" and the "print route"-list are almost identical.
But when I ping to any IP address, even the gateway of the VPN-connection (route table), i get a time out.
The only thing I can ping is the IP-address i received from the DHCP.
I have Norton internet security 2012 installed. I have already disabled it, uninstalled it en even disabled the windows firewall afterwards.
Without any success.
Has anybody an idee what I can try next?

En maskin med Windows Server 2003, denne maskinen er routing an remote access enabled med standard oppsett for VPN.
Maskiner som str p LAN'et kan koble seg opp med VPN til denne maskinen uten problemer. S serveren skal vre OK.
Nr jeg prver koble meg opp fra en maskin p Internett fr jeg bare "Verifying username and password".
Jeg har satt i Netopia routeren at alle adresser fra Inernett p port 1723 skal NATes til adressen til VPN serveren. Jeg har ogs prvd sette en firewall regel i Netopia routeren til videresende sprringer mot port 1723 til VPN serveren sin adresse.
Jeg gr ut i fra at Netopia routeren er feil satt opp og trenger litt mer konfigurering. Kan noen hjelpe meg med det. Den eneste mten jeg kan f gjort det er vi a Telnet. Endringsweben hos NTG fungerer ikke mot min router.
